We set it up in the asymmetric position because my garage is tight near the driver - side wall. It has been very handy for brake work and exhaust repairs, and the overhead shutoff bar is a nice safety feature. Assembly took some planning, but it has worked well once installed.

This lift has been a good fit for our small repair shop for oil leaks, suspension work, and transmission service. The direct - drive hydraulics run consistently, and the controls were easy for the team to learn. I do wish the installation instructions were clearer, but performance has been solid.
